Located in the leafy suburbs north-west of Melbourne’s CBD, Riddell Gardens is in close proximity to natural reserves and parks. Our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.

Nestled in and around a natural setting abundant with flora and fauna, Riddell Gardens in Sunbury has an atmosphere of traditional country charm. Residents can relax and enjoy the peaceful enclosed courtyard surrounded by age old gum trees.

**About the Opportunity**

**We are seeking an experienced hands on Maintenance Officer to join our team at Riddle Gardens (Sunbury) a permanent part-time time.**

You will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs are carried out safely in an effective and timely manner.

You will also be involved in projects, equipment replacement and budget preparation. Your strong relationship skills with residents, contractors and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be.

**About You**

The successful applicant should have the following:
**_ Essential:_**
- General maintenance skills such as painting, plastering, equipment repairs, minor plumbing & electrical issues and grounds maintenance.
- Understanding of fire and safety compliance
- Current drivers licence
- Experience in the provision of high quality customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound documentation and computer skills
- Flu Vaccination & COVID Vaccination

**_Desired:_**
- Trade qualification
- Previous experience in aged care, health or hospitality industries
