**About the role**

We are pleased to announce the availability of an amazing role within our valued Corporate Communications team. This key position involves promoting, protecting and positioning RACQ through strategic external communications campaigns across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Take a senior role in developing effective multi-channel communications campaigns for members, supporting RACQ’s business lines and advocacy pillars as required.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with media and internal stakeholders to anticipate and identify mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Engage with members and the public through RACQ’s social media channels.
- Support key corporate events, including AGM, financial results and annual report.
- Support Corporate Communications manager with crisis comms as required.
- Manage projects, lead internal engagement with critical stakeholders to develop a robust communications plan.
- Work closely with business line executive teams as required to develop strategic approaches to tactical business innovations and promotional opportunities.
- Research, write and edit content to a high standard for use across owned and earned communications channels, including The Road Ahead.
- Provide input into the RACQ, Strategy and Culture and Corporate Communications strategies.

**About You**
- Minimum of University degree in Media, Public Relations, Political Advice or similar
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Strong relationship management skills and expertise to engage with a cross section of media professionals to achieve RACQ’s strategic goals.
- Demonstrated experience working with and meeting the needs of a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete understanding of all media channels with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong writing skills including experience in developing speeches, presentations, reports, online content, internal and external articles, and opinion pieces.
- Excellent and high-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully influence others and shape opinion.
- Experience working in financial services is desired, but not mandatory.
