**Description**

Please note this is a 10 month fixed term contract opportunity.

Your key duties will be to:

- Manage day-to-day line 2 compliance activities for RACQ Bank’s obligations as an AUSTRAC Reporting Entity under the AML/CTF procedure, which includes reviewing updating and enhancing the Bank’s AML/CTF Program
- Enhance and deliver a contemporary compliance framework including development and amendment of compliance policy and procedure to comply with the dynamic regulatory environment.
- Provide guidance and advice to the Line 1 Risk & Compliance community to design controls, monitor their effectiveness and operational performance and accurately and transparently escalate matters of concern.

**About you**
- A relevant university degree (e.g. Commerce, Legal, Compliance, Risk)
- Extensive AML/CTF exposure within a financial services or similar environment, banking is highly desired.
- Knowledge across various compliance obligations pertaining to retail banking (e.g. NCCP, Privacy Act, APRA, ASIC regulatory codes etc)
- Deep knowledge of the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism act, risk management and financial crimes.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with a high-level of commercial acumen.
