The role:_
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service & Rentals Coordinator to join our team working in a technically demanding and fast-moving project based business. Our company designs and constructs integrated equipment and products for the offshore, marine, oil & gas, renewable and defence markets.
- You will be responsible for:_
- Providing service engineering support to clients with (or without) IHC equipment/products.
- Providing warranty services to clients whose equipment has an extant contractual guarantee.
- Providing fit for purpose rental products to clients.
- Reviewing and maintaining the rental fleet to ensure it remains appropriate for the business plan.
- Ensuring all operations are conducted in a safe manner.
- Producing progress reports and performance metrics/KPIs.
- Job requirements:_
- HNC/HND in a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of equipment-based engineering projects.
- Preference for prior knowledge of pipe lay, cable lay, subsea vehicle and/or marine equipment.
- Preference for experience in a service and/or warranty/guarantee role.
- Strong Health and Safety awareness with preference for formal HSE qualifications.
- Knowledge of project management process and planning skills using Microsoft Project.
- Proficient report writing and data analysis skills backed up by strong MS Office knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised, analytical, self-motivated and professional.
- Problem solver, able to work independently, under pressure, with minimum supervision.
- Ability to produce high quality work even while under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a cross functional environment.
- Willingness to undertake national and international travel as part of the job role.
