Job Title: Provisional Audiologist/Audiologist - Expert Hearing Care Pty Ltd, Perth WA (Full-time) Expert Hearing Care, independently owned hearing clinics was founded in 2012. We provide the people of WA with access to professional hearing care. Located in 15 convenient locations, Expert Hearing Care provides improved quality of life through innovative technology in harmony with professional, friendly services. Adherence to the highest standards of professional conduct as represented in the code of ethics and standard practice of profession. Expert Hearing Care clinic is equipped to provide complete hearing evaluations as well as comprehensive hearing aid fittings. Expert Hearing Care (WA) is looking for enthusiastic audiologist to join our growing, independently owned and operated audiology practice in location, WA. We are proud to offer a work environment with no sales pressure or targets, where you will be able to select from any manufacturers you deem the best choice for the client. Your scope of work will include audiological assessments, hearing aid fittings and rehabilitation services for private clients and Office of Hearing Services voucher holders. You will be: - Assessing and diagnosing the extent of a client’s hearing loss using state of the art equipment - Manage and treat patients as per assessment. - Administer and interpret a wide range of audiometric tests to determine hearing efficiency and locate sites of hearing problems. - Manage clients with complex needs, notably those with physical, intellectual & cognitive impairment. - Reporting results of assessment to other medical practitioner to ensure clients receive appropriate medical intervention in regard to their individual audiological findings. - Providing education and involving clients in making an informed decision - Recommend, prescribe & fit hearing protection to clients. - Recommend, prescribe, fit, verify, and adjust hearing devices (notably hearing aids) and assistive listening devices for clients. - Provide diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation services related to hearing defects. - Ensuring a high standard of record keeping Qualifications: - Master’s degree in clinical Audiology or equivalent Skills & Experience Required: - Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Audiologist - Previous demonstrated experience being a client “need focussed” clinician with a passion for adult rehabilitation. - Applicants are required to be (or be eligible and willing to become) Full member of Audiology Australia or Full member of ACAud. - Hold current CCP. - Passion to deliver excellent client service. - Ability to work Independently and willingness to support your team and other clinics - Excellent Communication skills **Salary**: $75,000 - 80,000 per annum plus superannuation (above award rate).
