**About Central Highlands Water**

Central Highlands Water (CHW) is a leading regional water corporation providing drinking water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services to approximately 150,000 customers throughout the Central Highlands region of Victoria. **About the Role**

CHW is embarking on a long-term ICT Program, of which Security and in particular this Cybersecurity Specialist position will play a significant part. This role requires a combination of technical and soft skills, such as business acumen, leadership, communications and relationship building. Additionally, the role must adopt a continuous approach to learning and up-skilling in order to maintain pace with the cyber threat landscape and new technologies. It is expected that this role will show innovation and imagination in conceiving and delivering cyber security strategies for CHW.

The Cyber Security Specialist exists to assist in the protection of CHW information assets through:

- Ensuring CHW performs the activities required to comply with the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF)
- Providing security-related advice and consulting services and
- Managing and supporting CHWs security strategies, standards, processes and

**About you**
- Experience in highly regulated environments and complex compliance environments (e.g. VPDSF, PCI-DSS etc).
- A solid knowledge of cyber security methodologies and frameworks, VPDSF & VPDSS, ISM and Industrial Automation and Control Systems standard
- A knowledge of relevant ISO and NIST standards in relation to information and cyber security is also desirable.
- Knowledge of security matters concerning modern cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g. Azure and AWS).
- Understanding of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), anti-virus and anti-malware, IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing, DDOS mitigation
- Understanding of Firewalls and
- Understanding of ITIL
- You are a doer who can follow through and deliver
