To find out more visit our website at **.****About the role**MSS Security is seeking a dedicated Full Time Security Officer to join our team at La Trobe University in Bendigo. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus. You will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, securing buildings and supporting students, staff, and visitors.**Duties include but are not limited to:*** Conduct foot patrols of campuses, mostly outdoors.* Escort people around the campus.* Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required.* Direct and assist people to navigate around the campus.* Write reports in response to incidents.**Ideal candidates will have:*** Proven security industry experience (highly desirable).* Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.* Ability to walk up to 15-20 km a day.* Excellent communication skills.**Requirements:*** Full Australian working rights.* Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).* Valid Victorian Security Licence.* Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.* Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).* Valid First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).**Master License Number:** 409-987-30S## **How to apply**MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.We are proud to:* be certified by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency,* be a partner and supporter of Veterans employment and honoured to have an endorsed INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan.
