**About the team**
Rail Delivery leads the delivery of all rail projects at Transport for NSW and ensures the outcomes meet client expectations and are fit for purpose. With specialised knowledge and delivery expertise in the rail environment brought together in one team, we manage the integration of all rail projects to efficiently deliver safe and successful projects across the rail network, for both Greater Sydney and Regional & Outer Metropolitan client divisions.
The Digital Systems Program (DSP) in Rail Delivery is a diverse, dynamic, highly skilled and dedicated team that is delivering a once in a generation change to the rail network.
**The opportunity**
We are currently looking for a motivated and hands-on project management professional to join us as a Project Officer within the “Enabling Systems Team” under the DSP program.
Working with a supportive and outstanding team, you will play a vital role in delivering both the DTRS (Digital Train Radio System) and FTN (Fixed Telecommunications Network).
Providing project management support, you will contribute to the project management and development processes and activities throughout the project lifecycle, including concept design, planning, planning approval, detailed design, tender, construction, project milestones/deliverables commissioning and handover.
Working closely with various service providers, and key stakeholders, you will monitor and action on all tasks to ensure progress towards meeting project milestones and provide timely and accurate project reports to the wider team.

**About you**
To be successful, you will have proven experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with a diverse range of complex matters and highly conceptual issues, in order to recommend practical solutions, often within limited time frames.
You will have demonstrated experience managing a range of stakeholders, be a great communicator and have the ability to put on multiple hats to support the team as and when required. You will be confident in coordinating both on and off-site resources to support successful project delivery.
**You will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction or Project Management) and/or equivalent experience. (Desirable)
- Proven knowledge and experience relating to large scale multi-disciplinary programs or projects.
- It is also desirable for you to have some rail industry and/or telecommunications engineering experience but this is not a deal breaker.
**Salary and benefits**
This salary for this position is Grade 7 $108,770 - $121,822 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
