The Australian Financial Review is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join the team as a Marketing Executive

**Job Description**:
**Your New Opportunity at the AFR**

The Marketing Executive will help to plan, develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote Financial Review Events and Lists. Under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager, you will support the delivery of higher-value campaigns as well as managing smaller campaigns more independently.

Day to day you will:

- Project manage and execute all aspects of the marketing campaigns on allocated projects to drive registrations, list entries and branding value for partners.
- Work across collateral development and implementation that includes creation of eDMs, print and digital advertising, website pages, PR, social media
- Project manage key internal stakeholders including editorial, subscriptions, advertising as well as external strategic partners, sponsors and agencies.
- Assist in managing marketing budgets for assigned projects
- Measure and report on effectiveness of campaigns, modifying where needed to ensure ROI
- Exercise initiative and creativity in developing marketing campaigns to reach target audiences for new and existing events and/or lists
- Work with the GM (Marketing) and Program Directors to ensure a thorough understanding of target markets and an evidence-based approach to reaching and converting them.

- Previous marketing experience
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to adapt and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders, with an engaging and inspiring communication style
- Experience working within a fast-paced team environment
- A multi-tasker with a flexible can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Some understanding of and interest in the corporate and business world
- An interest in digital marketing is desirable
