- **Starting ranges from $101,947 - $112,849 plus super and annual leave loading**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Advisor to work within the Media and Communications team at the Department of Planning & Environment (DPE).

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating media strategies and activities to support the Land and Housing Corporation’s (LAHC) work in managing relationships with media outlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for the largest social housing provider in Australia.

As a Media Advisor you will undertake effective media communications; actively liaising with internal and external stakeholders to prepare a wide range of media materials, as well as organising media events to ensure the NSW community is kept informed about the work being carried out by the Department.

Operating within a high-pressure and dynamic environment, the position is responsible for identifying and managing a range of media issues and delivering concise and clear responses within the set timeframes.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in media or journalism and/or equivalent experience
- Willingness and ability to be on call as required outside of normal working hours.
