**What You Will Be Doing**

The Exercise Physiologist works within the Integrated care and Dental stream within Peninsula Health Community Health. This stream targets the health needs of adults 65 years and older, younger adults with a disability and adults with a chronic condition and/or psycho social issues. This includes the indigenous community and CALD groups.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Registration and accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Demonstrated understanding of the pathophysiology of the target pathologies

(including, but not limited to, cardiopulmonary, metabolic, musculoskeletal,

neurological or neuromuscular conditions, cancers, mental health disorders and

chronic pain).
- Victorian drivers license.
- Capacity to supervise students, Allied Health Assistants and volunteers, promote

professional competence and foster individual staff development.
- Experience in quality improvement and research activities
- Demonstrated an ability to facilitate both group and individual exercise and

education interventions.

Desirable: Capacity to supervise students, Allied Health Assistants and volunteers, promote professional competence and foster individual staff development.

Desirable: Experience in quality improvement and research activities
