Land Command, Control, Communications & Computer Systems (LC4S) Branch is seeking a highly motivated and skilled communication technical officer who is able to undertake and complete moderately complex technical communications activities in compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

As a Communications Technical officer, you will provide technical advice in relation to state of the art LC4 systems and contribute to day to day product management and planning. You will also be able to work autonomously and display high levels of initiative, judgement when working on technical problems and shifting priorities.

- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of relevant processes, packages, product and equipment.
- Assess whether technical packages, reports, processes, product and equipment performance meet the specified requirements, provide recommendations for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure safety aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into communications technical activities and tasks.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
