- Undergraduate degree or relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive hands-on experience in a related position.
- Strong administrative and project management skills with a proven ability to work to manage concurrent tasks and work to deadlines.
- Highly developed event planning and execution skills with demonstrated capacity to organise functions and community events in a timely and effective manner.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated visual display and graphic design skills including proven ability and experience with Adobe In Design and Illustrator.
- Experience in successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns that that focus on improving the accessibility and relevance of services to the community.
- Demonstrated experience within digital marketing including the use of content management systems and social media platforms
- Strong commitment and understanding of the philosophy of a quality customer focused service and willingness to develop good customer service skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to EEO, WH&S and the principles for a culturally diverse society.
- Class C motor vehicle licence.

**Things you will do**:

- Develop and implement a marketing plan for the library to promote efficient and effective services that ensure the current and future needs of the community are met
- Manage the digital marketing presence of Randwick City Library across all online platforms including eNewsletters, social media presence and website
- Liaise with the Communications Division of Randwick City Council to promote the services, facilities and activities provided by Randwick City Library
- Manage the on-site marketing, promotion and presentation of library activities through in-house displays, design & distribution of posters, guides and other promotional materials, ensuring the brand integrity of all design elements and promotional material produced
- Manage the production of a quarterly What’s On calendar on behalf of all of Council
