Operations Manager

The role is part of the management team. It is responsible for overseeing all operations and support services to ensure the safety of ASC Australia plant, production of a quality product within customer expectations, and leads the plant with in areas such as Lean, 5S and our key KPIs achieve overall operational excellence objectives. The position oversees the production scheduling, resources and manufacturing in coatings and packaging production cells, warehouse functions - receiving and dispatch, and facility maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Should meet all related requirements regarding AS9100 Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems
- EHS:
- Responsible to make sure every individual, every area, every process and every piece of equipment is meeting regulatory and PPG safety standard at all times.
- Lead the team to use Root Cause Analysis tools and have proper follow up to make sure the actions are implemented.
- Project owner for any capital project, make sure the quality, timeline and cost all within requirement.
- Responsible for daily operations control to make sure we achieve all the key KPIs, such as On Time In Full, Cycle Time, Absolute Material Utilization, Delivery,Inventory etc.
- Leading continuous improvement activities through Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma methodology. Have proper resource for training, analysis, implement the plan and follow up the result.
- Updates senior leadership on continuous improvement projects using various presentation methods which include MS PowerPoint slides, MS Excel, and other tools.
- Manages and supervises maintenance of production equipment and facilities to maintain best performance of facility and equipment.
- Productivity- Responsible for develop the annual manufacturing budget and control the spending to achieve the goal;
- Implement cost saving activity to achieve continuous improvements.
- Implement new products localizations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in engineering, chemistry, science or equivalent.
- Five years production or operations management experience in corporate company;
- Familiar with EHS MS, QMS, LEAN manufacturing and 6 sigma methodology.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and people management skills.
- Strong problem analysis and solving ability.
- Solid PC skills.
