**About the opportunity**

As part of our StarTrack Road Express business, we’re looking for a **Operations Improvement Manager (VIC)** to join our high-performing team in **Tullamarine**. This is a key leadership role where you'll drive end-to-end operational excellence and customer outcomes. Focused on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement, this role supports a nationally significant supply chain, enabling our teams to deliver like never before.

You’ll be at the forefront of Lean process innovation, working across StarTrack depots, customer offsites, shopping center hubs and leadership teams to improve delivery outcomes and customer satisfaction.

**What you’ll deliver with us**

Reporting to the **State Operations Manager**, you’ll lead the analysis and implementation of improvement initiatives to enhance our Delivery in Full on Time (DIFOT) performance. You’ll work collaboratively with local operational leaders and national stakeholders to ensure StarTrack VIC operations are efficient, compliant, and customer-focused.

**You’ll also**
- Analyse and report on operational data to identify performance gaps and deliver improvement plans using Lean principles
- Partner with depots and customers to design and implement initiatives that enhance DIFOT and reduce operational inefficiencies

**About you**

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a data-driven environment and understands the importance of stakeholder collaboration. You bring a hands-on, improvement-focused mindset, and enjoy solving complex problems through process excellence and innovation. With your strong communication and influencing skills, you’ll drive lasting, positive change in a fast-paced network.

**You’ll also need**
- Strong understanding of transport or logistics operations, including CoR compliance
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to drive continuous improvement outcomes
- Strong analytical Skills with the ability to interpret and use complex data to drive improvement.
- Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.
- Excellent communication, relationship
- building, and stakeholder management skills.
