**Head of Supply Chain**:
**About the Company**:
A prominent manufacturer and supplier catering to the construction and landscape sector. These items are skillfully crafted to seamlessly integrate with both landscape and architecture, demonstrating a perfect amalgamation of the two.

**About the Role**:
The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for the planning, procurement, distribution and handling of goods within the company network to ensure timely delivery to customers and the most efficient use of inventory, as well as the warehouse manufacturing processes. We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional with a proven track record of managing complex supply chains, negotiating contracts and developing relationships with key suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively lead and empower the supply chain team to encourage operational excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Leading and working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Manager, Procurement, Transport, Planning and Warehouse Operations.
- Manage the operational aspects of purchasing processes, monitoring performance of key suppliers and working with key customers.
- Understand and utilise all companies principles, remain up to date with all new procedures and ensure that all internal policies and processes are adhered to.
- Work with Warehouse Operations Managers to ensure standardised processes are in place for the operating warehouses effectively and efficiently.
- Work with the Distribution Manager to champion the introduction of new tools and processes to improve the use of stock across the network.

**Qualifications**:

- Years of relevant and applicable experience in production, manufacturing or supply chain sectors;
- Comprehensive understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements (e.g.: Australian and overseas standards and regulations)
- Comprehensive understanding of Dangerous goods management.
- Understanding of Australian Import/Export Legal frameworks.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- A strategic thinker with an operational focus - the ability to see the big picture and map the practical pathways to achieve it.
- Knowledge of Pronto ERP desirable
