About the School
Clifford Park Special School provides a high school education for students with a verified intellectual disability. The school is set on beautiful, open grounds and has a proud tradition of delivering rigorous and engaging learning within a supportive school culture. Our current priorities are improving reading achievement for every learner and establishing strong pathways to employment for school leavers.
About the Role
As the Deputy Principal (Special Education), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high expectations for both student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
Build effective partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups.
Be future-oriented and strategic in planning and decision-making.
Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve school goals.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
