Over the coming decade we will expand T1 International, and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.

The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.5 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.

Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Heritage Advisor - Perths New Runway on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

**What you'll do**:
As the Heritage Advisor for the Perth New Runway project, you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring cultural heritage commitments are upheld to the highest standard. You’ll oversee compliance with key approvals and heritage plans, conduct audits and risk assessments, and provide expert input into design and tender documentation.

Your role will involve close collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to embed heritage best practice across all phases of the project. You’ll lead stakeholder engagement, support incident investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**About you**:
You’re a heritage professional with a passion for protecting cultural values in complex infrastructure environments. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

- A degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related discipline.
- Over five years’ experience managing heritage compliance on major construction projects.
- Proven ability to develop and implement Cultural Heritage Management Plans across project lifecycles.
- Completion of construction induction training (White Card).
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- A knack for problem-solving and considering diverse viewpoints.
- A collaborative nature and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- A flexible, can-do attitude with the resilience to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
