NES Fircroft are working with a Major Oil & Gas Operator in search for a Cultural / Heritage Approvals Coordinator to work within the Corporate Affairs space.

**Job Title**: Heritage Approvals Coordinator

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Working Location**: Perth CBD (Occasional domestic travel to the Pilbara will be required from time to time, along with attendance at events outside normal business hours.)

**Roster**: Monday to Friday

**Working Hours**: 9 hour days, 9 day fortnights (Every second Friday off)

**Contract Length**: 12 month contract

**Pay Rate**: Negotiable

**Responsibilities**:

- The Partnership Advisor
- Heritage Coordinator is accountable for the planning and coordination of Cultural Heritage Management activities to support business priorities, regulatory and Traditional Owner expectations.
- The role will work within Corporate Affairs and across functional areas of HSE, Legal and Operations.
- You will be required to implement and manage day to day operations of project specific Cultural Heritage Management Plans
- Plan and coordinate cultural heritage field activities to facilitate heritage consultation, assessment, and monitoring
- Prepare information and provide advice to support regulatory approvals and Traditional Owner consultation
- Document and catalogue company cultural heritage records and information
- Conduct business activities in support of transitioning to the new ACH Act 2021

**Stakeholders**:
Traditional Owners, Operations, Environment and Regulatory Approvals, Legal, other service providers as required.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Proficient in MS Office
- A working knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Cultural competence and experience working with Aboriginal People.
- A working understanding of the state legislative processes around Cultural Heritage Management including the new Act
- Current knowledge of land access regulatory approval processes
- Ability to provide advice on Aboriginal cultural heritage as business requirements and stakeholder expectations evolve
- Oversee the implementation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans/Agreements

**Experience**:

- 4 + years experience in Native Title and Cultural Heritage Management
- Experience in managing the coordination and logistics for cultural heritage field activities in remote locations
- Experience in managing the implementation of cultural heritage management plans in the resources industry
- Some experience in traditional owner consultation would be beneficial
