**Role Overview**

The Performance Tester will be responsible for scripting and executing the test cases, log / analyze the test results and provide recommendations. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

**Responsibilities**
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Load and Performance Testing tools
- Advanced Knowledge of performance testing concepts and the type of tests (load, endurance, stress, failover)
- requirements capture & analysis,
- ability to perform technical assessment,
- defining performance benchmarks as per industry standards
- workload modeling, set up measures,
- capacity planning, test strategy, test data definition, data seeding, data scrubbing
- test design and execution
- monitor and analyze test results, performance metrics,
- provide recommendation on remediation,
- Continuously improve the load & performance testing approach and framework
- Expertise in tools like **Neo Load, JMeter, Gating, OpenSTA, Flood, Load Runner, or equivalent tools.**:

- Experience preparing technical documents and strategies for all kinds of performance testing requirements.
- Ensure the load and performance tests meet business requirements for the projects on regular releases.
- Coordinate with other groups to ensure deadlines are met and system performance is acceptable before production implementation.
- Provide performance summary to all stakeholders
- **Other duties as assigned or requested.**

Skills and Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in **JMeter**:

- Preferred Experience in **Dynatrace**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality.
- Ability to organize and plan work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Able to train peers, software engineers and support team members.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience required,
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer related field.
