From $33.46 per hour + salary packaging + leave loading + allowances - Be part of a brand-new service - Work Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week (before and after school care) **About the role** Our OSHC will be located on the beautiful grounds of St Agatha’s Catholic Primary School in Pennant Hills and is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 am in the mornings and from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. During the school holidays the OSHC is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The Assistant Coordinator will be able to work closely with the Coordinator to provide programs for children aged 5 - 12 years in Before School Care & After School Care at our Pennant Hills OSHC. This is a perm part time role working Monday to Friday, for 30 hours per week. **Duties** - Working in support of the coordinator with the efficient day to day operation of the service. - Regularly evaluate the program to ensure it caters for the interests, needs of school age children - Ensure Compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations. - Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required. - Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service. - Willingness to engage in professional development **Requirements**: - Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain. - Working With Children Check. **Highly Desirable** - Knowledge of regulation relevant to Outside School Hours Care under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law. - Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis. - National Criminal History Check. - Experience in working in Out of School Hours Care or studying towards your Bachelor of Education Primary Teaching. - Skills and experience in team leadership. **Culture and Benefits** We know that changing roles is a big decision - so here is what we can offer you: - Salary packaging - also known as salary sacrifice - means allocating a portion of your salary to pay certain expenses before income tax is calculated.
