***large Community-based NFP OSHC service seeking a passionate leader for an Assistant Director position with a focus on Engagement & Community.

A leadership opportunity in a supportive Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service is currently available with this non-for profit (NFP) in the
**Pennant Hills Area**, Sydney's North / North West.

**_Please note that this is a parental leave position, which is of a temporary nature of 2 years._**

It is a good opportunity to build up your leadership experience, try something different / change organisation, or step down and utilise the flexible nature of the position.

**About the Position**:

- Genuine flexibility, for example could be 4 day work week - block shifts. Collaborate with the management team to create your ideal schedule - mix and match shifts, or whatever suits you and the services needs.
- Approximately $37 - $41 per hour + Super, pending experience and qualifications (approx $73K to $81K + Super).
- Responsible to assist the Acting Director with the over all operation of the service.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with all members of the team.
- Assist the Director with maintaining compliance with the NQF and all within (NQS, MTOP, National Law, National Quality Standards, etc).
- Promote and contribute to a positive work environment.

- Community based NFP, independent P&C run service.

- Well Resourced Service, in a physical sense and people - above ratio, to ensure quality is maintained.
- Licenced for under 150 children.
- Own space on school grounds.
- Great management team in place, each with their own strength area.
- Great structure within the service, ensuring lots of support is available and ability to share the workload with other experienced Assistant Directors / Acting Director and other senior team members.

**About You**:

- Experience in OSHC highly desirable, however will consider experience in ECE.
- A people person, approachable, can connect with the community whether that be families and caregivers, the school staff, to other stakeholders.
- Experience in an Assistant Director position or other senior management position highly desirable.
- Looking for someone with a qualification whether in OSHC or related to OSHC **OR** at least 2 years experience working in an OSHC service in a management / supervisor position.
- Accredited and current Child Protection and First Aid.
- An understanding of the NQF and all within (NQS, MTOP, National Law, National Quality Standards, etc).
- Happy to take on the position of Responsible Person (RP) in the absence of other senior team members (please note - this is NOT a Nominated Supervisor position).
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Genuine nature, love working with children and supporting others.
