Where you’ll be working_**

The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

What you’ll be doing_**

You will have demonstrated experience in media, public relations or corporate communications in a complex, fast paced environment.

Essential to the role will be your ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with competing deadlines and priorities and delivering on time and within budget.

Remuneration/Benefits_**

In addition to base salary:

- 12% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

Essential requirements_**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations, media studies or related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant industry/professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with media, public relations and corporate communications in a complex, fast paced environment.
- Experience in writing and editing for multiple channels, formats and audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering communications assets in a range of formats for a variety of channels and diverse audiences.
- Experience in basic multimedia content development, including taking photos and shooting video on personal devices.
- Experience in developing tactical communications plans aligned with broader strategy.
