**THE ROLE**

The specific purpose of this role is to focus on new business sales, to ensure both sales volumes, customer numbers and gross margin targets are achieved within a new business category, to maximise contributions toward the National Sales Budget.

This is achieved by winning new business through prospecting, marketing and network referral approaches across the full range of LPG & associated product segments. The new business approach will operate within price and margin guidelines set. LPG is the focus of this role, however all portfolio selling opportunities should be engaged.

Main key responsibilities include:

- To achieve growth in new business sales of LPG and related portfolio products and services to customers in the allocated territory or segment.
- Develop a Sales Pipeline through building prospect lists and intensive cold calling.
- Prepare Cap Ex Approval’s (CEA, CIEM) and all other processes relevant to establishing new accounts.
- Facilitate the timely delivery & service of all new customers by liaising with internal external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the current energy market with respect to competitor’s clients, pricing and contract status, utilising this knowledge to enhance Origin Energy profitability and growth.
- Comply with Origin HS & E, codes of practice, standards, policies and operating procedures.

**Is This You?**

You will demonstrate:

- Evidence of Successful Cold Calling experience & resilience.
- Sales Pipeline Building
- Knowledge and evidence of time management and territory planning
- Preparation and delivery of written, oral, and electronic sales presentations to all levels of management.
- Proven sales record and ability to add value in the selling process.
- Must be self motivated and demonstrate an ability to successfully complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
- Show initiative and problem-solving skills
