Our Risk and Compliance Team is currently looking for a Compliance Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the compliance framework for Praemium with a background in Responsible Entity or Wraps/Platform. The role provides technical advice and support to assist the development of a robust and effective risk and compliance culture.

**As Compliance Manager, your activities will include but are not limited to**:

- Implementing the Responsible Entity IDPS/MIS compliance framework
- Oversight and monitoring of Praemium’s compliance requirements, including reporting to management, compliance committee and board.
- Perform compliance review including approval of key documents e.g. Product Disclosure Statements, Significant Event Notices, Marketing collateral and etc.
- Incidence breaches and complaints management
- Policy reviews and development
- Represent the Risk and Compliance Team on projects and initiatives.
- Assessing and implementing regulatory and legislative changes
- Advise and respond to complex compliance queries from the business
- Liaise with external bodies such as advisers, auditors and regulators as required.
- Manage the testing and review of the adequacy of business level controls and end-to-end processes.
- Continually raise awareness and facilitate a strong compliance culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing commercial and client needs.

**What you will bring to our team**:

- 5+ years previous experience in a similar role, working for a Responsible Entity or Wraps/Platform and superannuation is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory environment including the obligations under AFS licensing regimes, emerging regulatory, risk and compliance frameworks.
- An excellent understanding of best practice approaches to managing regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Highly developed analytical skills, organisational skills, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of translating the complex into the simple and communicating with passion.
- Relevant tertiary and industry qualifications and accreditations.
- Exposure to or experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems will be highly desirable.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work.
