My client is a boutique and wonderful PR agency who specialise in the arts space. They work across leading theatre, dance, music and event clients in Sydney. They have a beautiful team of passionate professionals and due to continued client work they are looking for an Account Manager to come on board to join their team. You will be a strong client facing AM, with great media relations, you don't have to have experience in the arts, but a passion for the space is definitely required

Key responsibilities include:
PUBLICITY ACTIVITY
- MANAGING PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGNS
- Act as the day-to-day main point of contact for client
- Take an active role in building ongoing strong relationships with media
- Lead team brainstorms to develop new ideas for clients
- Pitch story ideas and liaise with media for interview and photo opportunities
- Identify new opportunities for securing client coverage with both media outlets and third-party organisations
- Build and maintain media databases for PR’s clients
- Provide assistance to the Publicity Coordinator in posting What’s On listing and pitching giveaways for client events
- Work with the Publicity Coordinator to invite media to attend and review events and opening nights
- Attend client events and opening nights
- MONITORING OF MEDIA FOR COVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES AND CLIPPINGS
- Monitor media coverage for PR’s clients daily
- Conduct regular research of media outlets across TV, radio, print and online
- INVOLVEMENT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE STRATEGIES
- Provide creative input within team brainstorms and lead brainstorms for managed clients
- Assist PR Director in the preparation of strategy documents for clients
- CAMPAIGN REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
- Work with Publicity Coordinator to collate regular client reports
- Provide a weekly update to clients on work in progress
- Prepare project feedback and analysis to clients as required
