**The opportunity**

We are seeking a Digital Engagement Consultant to join our team and play a key role in supporting API integrations, IT projects, and process improvements within the Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) function.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating projects with internal and external customers, including lender integrations with QBE LMI's APIs, technology builds, rollouts, system upgrades, and BAU technology support and testing.

This role plays a critical part in identifying business challenges, scoping solutions, and ensuring successful implementation across QBE LMI. Acting as the key intermediary between end-users and IT, you will work to ensure that business and user requirements are effectively translated into deliverable solutions, driving efficiency and seamless system adoption.

**Your new role**

In this role you will:

- Establish and maintain APIs for LMI services, working with lenders and partners to ensure seamless integration while providing technical guidance and support.
- Assist in system testing for technology implementations, collaborating with internal teams to assess feasibility, document requirements, and drive successful outcomes.
- Conduct BAU testing for API updates, system changes, and deployments, identifying and resolving post-implementation issues.
- Act as a liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring smooth onboarding and driving change management for process and technology adoption.
- Develop project documentation aligned with company policies, gather stakeholder input, and ensure compliance with risk and issue management procedures.
- Support the implementation of the LMI project strategy, ensuring alignment with business targets, and run Post Implementation Reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in UAT by designing test scripts, coordinating testing efforts, and managing backlog priorities while supporting changes to scope and schedule.
- Provide customer-focused support by guiding external partners through QBE LMI's technology solutions, mentoring team members, and fostering collaboration.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience with API integrations, system testing, and technical project support, ideally within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
- Strong knowledge of XML file structures and an understanding of data exchange between systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive projects forward.
- A background in change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technology.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business benefits.
