Japanese Speaking Accounting Clerk

Staff Solutions Bilingual has a fantastic opportunity for Japanese Speaking Accounting Clerk on permanent full-time position in Melbourne. Our client is a Japanese global giant developer and producer of a wide array of building materials including structural and building materials on an international scale.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a finance department, while adhering to established accounting standards
- Be accountable for accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in year-end audit requests
- Generate reports, filing, and database management in systems
- Secures financial information by completing database backups, keeping information confidential
- Process banking and expenses
- Handle any ad-hoc duties requested by manager
**Skills and Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of clerical accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software
- Xero experience is a bonus
- Japanese/English bilingual language skill
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems
- Intermediate to advance level in Excel is a bonus
