We are seeking a Learning and Development Administration Officer / Workplace Trainer who will be primarily responsible for coordinating and completing all administration duties to ensure the efficient operation of the Training Department. Secondly, the L & D Administration Officer / Workplace Trainer will deliver training of Certificate III in Retail, unless qualified to also conduct assessment activities, in which case assessment practices will be included. **Role Status**: Permanent full-time - based in Rochedale QLD. **Duties**: - Ensuring Legislative, Regulatory and Training Industry Standards Compliance across all administrative activities - Completing all required QLD government documentation relating to regulatory requirements for Training - Submitting claim documentation to the applicable regulatory / funding bodies - Coordinating non-accredited training across all Drakes stores in Queensland - by liaising with internal and external stakeholders. - Facilitating accredited training (and assessment) under the regulated stipulations of the Australian Skills Quality Authority. - Managing internal documentation relevant to the development, delivery, assessment, achievement of competency and evaluation and validation of Nationally Accredited learning programs **Skills and Experience**: Experience in a similar position is highly regarded. Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate: - Customer centric to provide a high-level service to internal and external customers - High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products - Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (VETtrak, Accelerate, WiseNet) - Detailed knowledge of Vocational Education and Training Legislation, Regulatory and Training Industry Standards - High level prioritisation, organisational and time management skills which results in the ability to meet deadlines - Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication skills and people skills with strong internal and external customer focus - Ability to influence others, build rapport and make positive change - Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast-changing environment - Drivers’ licence and willing to travel intrastate to Drakes stores **Qualifications**: - TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable) - SIR50116 Diploma of Retail Management (highly desirable) **Benefits and Perks**: - Attractive remuneration - Staff discounts (currently 10%) - Opportunity for career progression and promotion - Excellent work-home life balance **To succeed within our organisation, applicants must be able to**: - Display a passion for the supermarket retail industry - Express a positive "can do" attitude - Problem solve - Lead by example - Motivate a team - Communicate effectively with management, team members, customers and external stakeholders **If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you
