**Finance Officer**
Amart Furniture are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to join the Store Support Centre based in Rochedale. If you enjoy a hands on and varied role supporting the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, this is a great opportunity for an individual to add value to the newly created Transactional Services department and work with key stakeholders across the business.
**About the role**:
Provides assistance to the Transactional Services Team, including processing accounts payable and receivable invoices, complete financial administration tasks, manage retail/banking transactions including bank reconciliations and getting involved with process improvements
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Processing Accounts Payable Invoices: Process expense invoices, staff expenses, corporate credit cards and upload files, ensuring compliance with internal policies, including the Delegation of Authority policy
- Supplier Onboarding: Ensure that all verification checks are completed in timely manner
- Suppliers Payments: Ensure all Suppliers are paid by terms and by designated payment schedules
- Raise accounts receivable invoices
- EOM Reporting: Manage the AR aged debtors report and manage debts with internal stakeholders
- Month End: Complete month end checks to ensure all major accounts have been processed by month end close.
- Audit: Assist the Transactional Services Manager with audit requests for sample data
- Projects: Involvement in allocated process improvement initiatives
**About you**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume accounts payable &/or receivable department
- Ability to recommend changes current processes to create efficiencies
