**About the Role**

**This is a 2 years Fixed Term - Full Time Position**

The IT Change Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing and facilitating changes to the IT infrastructure, systems and processes required for operations of the current and incoming ABT system. Working as part of the operations workstream, this role plays a critical part in ensuring that the documentation and processes supporting IT changes are realised and optimised through effective collaboration and responsive management of maintenance and end-to-end IT issues.

The IT Change Specialist reports to the Service Delivery Senior Manager.

**Position outcomes / Accoountabilities**
- Effectively managed end to end IT change processes, including analysis of IT change process requirements, provision of specialist input for process design, system integration, testing and quality assurance.
- Ensured testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of changes.
- Engaged with key stakeholders/entities to ensure alignment with change objectives.
- Lead and operated the authorising systems and controls to evaluate change requests, assess risks and make recommendations, including effective communication of IT change decisions.

**Key Selection Criteria**

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Change management experience, including within a project context.

**Desirable**
- Experience in delivering IT change in a project context
- Experience in the design, development, implementation or management of IT for a ticketing service or project
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, business management or information technology is highly regarded.
- Certification with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices
