**What You’ll Do**
As **Assistant Manager**, you’ll be right in the action, leading by example, coaching the team and supporting the Venue Manager to run an efficient, profitable, and vibrant venue providing our guests with great experiences.
- **Your key responsibilities will include**:_
- **Manage & Lead by Example**:Guide the team during shifts, upholding our high standards of customer service and team collaboration.
- **Admin & Operations**:Assist with rosters, training reviews, stock control, and general compliance.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Setting the example by being a friendly, professional face for our venue, connecting with guests, resolving issues, and creating positive experiences.
- **Team Development**: Mentoring and Training front of house and bar staff, help train new employees, and contribute to a positive, energetic work culture.
- **Opening & Closing Duties**: Opening or closing the venue, managing end of night reporting and reconciliation, and supporting smooth shift transitions.
- **Problem Solving on the Go**:Tackle unexpected challenges with confidence and a can-do attitude.
- **Venue Management Support**: Oversee floor, bar, and kitchen flow in collaboration with the Venue Manager and the Kitchen Manager to continuously improve venue performance and guest satisfaction.
- **Culture Building**: Help to improve and maintain a culture place where guests and team members genuinely enjoy being.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Support and maintain venue safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing and procedures
**About You**
We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, understands people and enjoys creating memorable experiences. You don’t need to tick every box. Great if you do, but what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to tackle challenges and learn along the way.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Bring positive energy, enthusiasm, and a customer first mindset to every shift.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both guests and the team.
- Are reliable, punctual, and take pride in delivering great service and leadership.
- Can stay calm and solutions focused during busy or high pressure moments.
- Are available for evening and weekend shifts (we’re a hospitality business, after all).
- Have **2+ years of hospitality experience**, ideally in a leadership or supervisor role and willing to take on new challenges and learn fast with the right support.
- Bring ideas, initiative, and a desire to contribute to growing the team and venue.
- Are passionate about guest experience and take pride in your venue.
- Are looking for professional development and growth, with the opportunity to step up into new positions.
