We are partnering with a renowned Queensland Government Agency to engage a motivated and enthusiastic Principal Finance Officer. This is a full-time position for a six-month engagement.

As a Principal Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing complex financial projects within the agency. You will have the opportunity to drive change, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure the success of projects. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to achieving excellence in financial management practices and supporting the agency's mission.
- Strong leadership skills in leading and coordinating financial management projects and reviews, including financial analysis, activity-based costing, financial modeling, and cost versus benefit analysis
- Effective communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to senior management and various stakeholders.
- Ability to drive change and implement process improvements to achieve project goals.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality standard.
