We are looking for an experienced Bulk Fleet Scheduler to join a team based in Clayton. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and cost-effective operation of their transport assets, meeting service requirements and maintaining optimal customer stock levels.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

- Efficient Scheduling: You will be responsible for managing scheduling activities to optimize vehicle efficiencies and maintain customer stock levels.
- Daily Runsheets: Processing drivers' daily runsheets to ensure streamlined transport activities and timely deliveries.
- Compliance and Safety: Your understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements will be instrumental in eliminating risk from bulk transport operations. You will also report and resolve any transport-related safety issues.
- Performance Optimization: Driving exceptional performance to plan in terms of safety, service, and cost through effective scheduling techniques.
- Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with the Bulk Customer Service Officer to ensure seamless communication between sales, planning, and manufacturing teams.
- Data Management: Managing local data requirements for transport scheduling through systems like SAP and utilizing telemetry data when available.
- Continuous Improvement: Reviewing previous days' performance to identify areas for improvement in scheduling and cost efficiency.
- Scheduling Support: Assisting in compiling scheduled and unscheduled Stock Transport Orders (STOs) for smooth operations.
- Process Improvement: Providing scheduling advice to support process optimization and enhance transport operations.
- Customer Engagement: Occasionally attending customer meetings with the sales team to represent the transport scheduling perspective.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participating in cross-functional training to provide coverage for Bulk Customer Service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in bulk freight distribution or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP (preferred) and other scheduling systems.
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to promoting safety awareness.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize scheduling and cost efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
