We are leading the way in New Energy - As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced **Planner **to join our team.

**About the role**

The Planner will be accountable for helping in the production and updating of project schedules for New Energy projects. The scope of work will include all stages from design, through procurement to installation and commissioning. The process will involve communication with all of the various design, procurement, installation and commissioning teams so as to achieve a schedule that provides for the most effective means of completing the projects on time and to budget. All projects will be resourced and various methods will be used to gauge progress, such as earned value and critical path analysis.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overall planning & scheduling across the contract for all assigned projects or other designated areas of responsibility within the business.
- Provides technical and administrative guidance to the business unit.
- Participates in corporate policy, guidelines and procedure development.
- Overall Project planning & scheduling
- Establishing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Implementation of milestone schedules
- Development & management of schedule
- Engineering progress monitoring
- Procurement/construction monitoring
- Maintaining critical items action list

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years in construction project planning role
- Primavera P6 Expertise mandatory with expert command of the program and experience performing project scheduling
- Knowledge of project controls policies, processes and procedures
- Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes to support Line of Business and Project Goals.
- Appropriate technical qualifications
- Advanced database and spreadsheets
