**About the role**:
Due to an exciting time in our digital transformation journey, we are seeking a Network Planner for a contract role for 12 months, to work within CSR's newly created Central Planning Division. This area of the business is part of an exciting transformation program which is now in it's roll out phase.
** What you'll be doing**:
- Maintain and report on safety stock settings within the network in accordance with Inventory Policy
- Lead the execution of Inventory optimisation initiatives within the network.
- Partner with distribution staff, customer service staff, production planners and production staff to resolve operational issues on sites.
- Review monthly distribution requirements and proactively recommend strategies to:
- Minimise excess stock.
- Minimise inventory shortages.
- Monitor stock levels and rebalance where appropriate.
- Identify inventory policy violations.
- Track STOs and ensure timely delivery to customer sites.
- Track Inventory performance against KPIs.
- Manage SAP purchase order and STO details to reflect any changes.
**What you'll bring**:
- 3+ years working in either inventory, freight, warehousing, or procurement
- Exposure to S&OP / IBP environment
- Numerate and systems literate
- Good planning and organising skills, combined with strong attention to detail.
- Solid experience working with Excel (SAP is highly advantageous)
- A team player, able to effectively influence and communicate cross functionally to a senior level.
- Able to meet deadlines with quality output.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Innovative thinking and problem solving.
- Analytical thinking and information seeking
