**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a **part-time Roster Officer** (22.5 hours per week) to join our HR team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting efficient staff scheduling, accurate staff data management, and adherence to HR policies.

**What You'll Do**
- **Rostering & Staff Wellbeing**: Develop and manage the electronic roster, considering resident needs and preferences for optimal care delivery. Respond to leave requests and shift changes while minimising reliance on agency staff.
- **Staff Data Management**: Maintain accurate and confidential staff records in our HR system (CareSystems), ensuring smooth onboarding for new team members.
- **HR Support**: Assist with HR tasks like maintaining templates and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance staff satisfaction and resident care.

**You'll Be Successful If You Have**
- **Experience Matters**: Minimum two years' experience in a similar role, with at least one year in rostering.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficiency in HR information systems like CareSystems for data entry, record management, and reporting.
- **Communication is Key**: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and management.
- **Passion Makes a Difference**: A passion for aged care and a commitment to providing exceptional care to older adults.
- **The Essentials**: A Working with Vulnerable People Card, understanding of HR principles and the Aged Care Quality Standards.

**Bonus Points for**
- Experience in an aged care setting.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
- Rostering software experience.
