Sydney- Ancillary Areas- PermanentOur client is an independent trading firm that provides retail and institutional FX trading services to clients in Australian and the UK. They are primarily an FX broking business that has grow steadily over the past ten years, with a product offering across a few different functions. Due to movement in the team, they are seeking to employ a Middle Office Associate to their operations function that has a team of 8 HC in Sydney and 3 HC over in London.

The position will work across a variety of operations functions, mostly focused on supporting retail FX trading clients in Australia. Strong FX experience is required as well as prior experience using Metatrader4

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide primarily Middle Office (Transaction & Risk Management) and also core Back Office (Payments/Onboarding) support for the global businesses
- Global Trade / Position Reconciliations (real-time & snapshot)
- All aspects of MetaTrader 4 (MT4) administration / configuration (Group setup, Agent & IB setup, Book & MAM changes, Rolls)
- Insto Client trading platform / ECN configuration
- Internal stakeholder & external vendor management
- System configuration of products and services
- Ensure compliance policies & procedures are followed
- Core operational procedures including (but not limited to): management of open times & public holidays, Futures Contract Rolls (MT4 & OneZero), Swap Rolls, ‘dashboard’ exception management
- New Account setup
- Daily execution of client payments
- Flexibility to cover BAU tasks for team coverage
- Point of escalation for key stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the Financial Services industry (3+ years
- Excellent understanding of Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Margin FX, Index & precious Metals Brokerage industry strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of the MT4 platform strongly preferred
- Knowledge of other online Retail client platforms preferable
- Knowledge of TwoFour/Broadridge FXL and/or FSS platforms strongly preferred
- Exposure to technology-based implementations preferable
- Degree qualified preferred (Finance, Accounting or related discipline)
