Corporate Communication Executive - Media Industry

1TRIBE Solutions is proud to be working with one of Australia's leading corporate communications agencies to help build their team after sustained growth.

Our client is looking for an outstanding Corporate Communications Executive to join their team to work with some of the biggest media companies across Australia & New Zealand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support corporate objectives and initiatives.
- Create engaging content for press releases, newsletters, website updates, and other communication materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and manage responses to inquiries or issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging.
- Coordinate corporate events, press conferences, and media briefings to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, public relations, and executive teams, to align communication efforts and amplify key messages.
- Track and analyse communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform communication strategies and tactics.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years experience in corporate communication, journalism, public relations, or media relations,
- Ideally you will have experience within the media industry or have a good understanding of the industry.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messages for diverse audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-Suite and senior level internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing social media accounts and digital communication channels is a plus.
