This is the first person in to the role however further down the line the role will develop and team will grow. Some key responsibilities will include:

- Provide technical leadership to the IAM team, ensuring that the team is following best practices, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Customize SailPoint solutions to meet specific organizational needs, configure policies, workflows, and rules for identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to the IAM systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution and minimize system downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and effectively communicate the progress and status of IAM projects.
- Ensure that IAM solutions are compliant with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies. Continuously monitor and assess security threats and risks to make necessary adjustments to the IAM system.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, configuration, and procedures. Conduct training sessions to educate relevant stakeholders on IAM systems and processes.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing IAM processes, methodologies, and technologies, and propose and implement enhancements to optimize IAM operations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting IAM solutions.
- Must have experience with Sailpoint.
- Proven experience as a technical lead across identity solutions - preference is Sailpoint.
- Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access control, and identity lifecycle management.
- Experience with integrations using connectors (e.g., JDBC, Active Directory, LDAP) and web services (e.g., SOAP, REST).
- Familiarity with security protocols and standards (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Knowledge of IAM-related technologies, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Collaborative experience working with multiple business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, consulting and influencing skills.
- Experience with assuring delivery within risk appetite
- Advanced experience and knowledge of frameworks including NIST, Essential 8 and ISO27001.
