Employee/Industrial Relations Specialist
- Support the development and implementation of the ASPAC ER Strategy
- $160-180K total package
Reporting to the Director Employee Relations, People and Culture, this role will provide support to the Employment and Workplace Relations function which supports the diverse and complex set of Employment and Workplace Relations activities across the various ASPAC Business units.
This role will provide leadership and strategic advice on employee relations and change management matters, to ensure compliance with relevant workplace relations requirements and to support a high performance culture and engagement
The incumbent will assist with the establishment and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and governance to provide a consistent approach to the management of opportunities and risks associated with complex Employment and Workplace Relations situations and activities.
This role will support the Employee Relations team in the provision of advice and support and in the development and implementation of ER strategies, policies, procedures and governance to provide a consistent approach to the management of risk associated with complex Industrial and Workplace Relations activities.
**Employment Relations Strategy and Governance**
- Develop specific ER and EA Strategies for ASPAC Business units that are responsive to commercial priorities and harmonise with the ASPAC ER Strategy
- Implement and enforce Governance processes for the management of ER/IR priorities including negotiations for Enterprise Agreements
- Lead enterprise agreement negotiations on various EA’s
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders research, draft, negotiate and implement industrial instruments
**IR and ER Support and Advice**
- Provide advice on Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) and IR/ER Dispute Resolution to the ASPAC business units
- Partner with operational management to manage responses to Employment and Workplace incidents as they may arise in the business.
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Human Resources, Law or other relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial relations/employment relations/HR Generalist function within large and complex organisation
- Strong business/commercial acumen and experience with exposure to litigation and dispute management
- In depth understanding of key developments and likely future developments in Industrial and workplace landscape
