Our state government client is currently seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Consultant.

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement professional to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a temporary contract for 3 months with extension possibilities. This role is a great opportunity to work on a large state government project within a well-known government department.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Liaise directly with internal stakeholders and project managers on communication and engagement ideas and opportunities
- Develop communication and engagement plans and activities
- Identify opportunities to improve the organisations communications through research
- Prepare corporate communication, briefings, and responses

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Demonstrated experience in communications and engagement
- State government industry exposure
- Ability to deliver a broad range of communications material including print, online, social media and face to face
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
