Content Producer

CHOICE is looking for a Content Producer to produce unique and compelling insurance and utilities content that elevates the CHOICE brand and grows our audience.

As a CHOICE Content Producer you will work for a media platform free from the reliance on advertising dollars by joining an organisation with a solid subscriber base and a proven track record of making a difference that Australians truly value.

You will be joining an organisation with a history of making a difference. CHOICE has been Australia’s consumer advocate since 1959, giving clear-cut advice about products, services and your rights. We work everyday to help people navigate complex markets, step in to stop businesses treating people unfairly and fight for governments to create laws in the interests of people, not big corporations.

**About You**

You want to make Australia a better place for people and are passionate. You are a Producer with strong research skills which enables you to create accurate, informative articles in an engaging way. Other key skills required:

- Able to analyse data heavy insurance and utilities data
- Quickly turn round compelling, accurate content to provide the strongest benefits to consumers
- Understanding of digital media tools, analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to interpret spreadsheets, SQL databases, data manipulation and data visualisation tools
- Design and deliver digital content, including animated infographics/graphs and videos.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or further education qualification in communications/journalism or finance/economics equivalent experience
- Experience in creating services content for multiple audiences in the financial services sector
