Content Creator / Videographer (Part-Time, 3 Days Per Week) Based in Marrickville (in-house, with some partner visits)

Black Market Coffee is on the hunt for a talented and creative Content Creator/Videographer to join our team part-time. You'll be at the heart of shaping our brand story through engaging, high-quality content across social media, YouTube, and paid advertising.

We're looking for someone who can bring ideas to life — from concept, to shoot, to polished final edit — all while keeping our community entertained, informed, and inspired.


What You'll Do
  • Content Creation: Ideate, shoot, edit, caption and upload content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
  • Photography: Capture high-res product, people, and event photography that represents our brand.
  • Videography: Produce both short-form (reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, ads) and long-form YouTube content.
  • Advertising Content: Develop creative assets (videos, stills, carousels, GIFs) for paid campaigns.
  • Community Focus: Craft content that engages and excites our loyal coffee community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and visit partners to capture content on-site.

Key Deliverables
  • 1–2 shoot days per week (socials, YouTube, partner brands, and paid ads).
  • Regular editing to produce polished, on-brand content.

  • Monthly delivery including:

  • Instagram/TikTok: reels, stories, carousels across Black Market Coffee, Black Market Thirroul & Black Market Training.

  • YouTube: Shorts and 1x long-form (5–7 min) video per month.
  • Paid Ads: 10 video ads + supporting creatives per month.
  • Photography: 30–40 high-res edited shots per month.
  • Captions & Uploads: SEO-optimised copy and publishing across platforms.

We're Looking For Someone Who…
  • Has proven experience in videography, photography, and editing (portfolio required).
  • Is confident shooting and editing for short and long-form platforms.
  • Understands social media trends and can adapt to platform requirements.
  • Has strong technical skills (Adobe Creative Suite / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Can work independently in-house 3 days per week, with flexibility for partner visits.
  • Is a natural storyteller with a keen eye for detail and brand alignment.
  • Has their own equipment and computer to bring to the role
