**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Head of P&C and collaborating closely with two P&C Advisors and the WHS & Facilities Manager you will be responsible for a mixture of BAU activities across the employee lifecycle as well as support future change management initiatives tied to the 2024-2027 organisational strategy.

Day to day you will be looking for ways to engage with staff and support people managers with employee relations, resource planning, hiring, learning and wellbeing activities.
- Guide and support people managers with hiring, performance management and staff development activities
- Prepare job descriptions, end to end recruitment and interview guides
- Prepare contracts and onboarding documentation
- Coordinate new starter inductions and employee development plans
- Contribute to the development of P&C policies, processes, content and comms
- Respond to staff queries on policies, pay, benefits, entitlements, leave, personal development etc
- Lead or support the coordination of P&C events
- Maintain data integrity for all HR systems and create reports for management i.e. quarterly people analytics (engagement, turnover, excess leave etc)

**About you**:
You have five or more years generalist HR experience and have a keen interest in employee engagement and development.

You have a track record of handling a wide variety of stakeholders across a broad range of touch points. You have found your own authentic way to keep things simple yet effective.
- Formal qualifications and demonstrated ongoing commitment to learning in the HR/L&D/ER space
- Well practised in handling contemporary HR issues with a thorough understanding of corresponding legislation i.e. psychological safety, fair work etc.
- Thorough understanding of and ongoing passion for best practice in full lifecycle employee development.
- Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills
- An advocate for innovation, agile working and continuous improvement in HR
