
Casual Early Childhood Assistants

The Early Childhood Assistant is expected to work as a collaborative member of the Early Learning Centre team, to provide a rich and engaging educational program appropriate to the interests and developmental needs of the children. The position assists in providing an amiable, flexible, creative, stimulating, and safe environment for the children.
The incumbents will interact and engage with children and families across the Early learning Centre on a Casual basis.
**The successful applicant must have**:
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role desirable.
- A strong alignment with the values of the Reggio Emilia Educational Approach
- Highly motivated, committed to work collaboratively with others, demonstrating our School values of Dignity, Respect, Care and Compassion
- Demonstrated ability to build authentic, collaborative and respectful relationships.
- A strong community and service ethic and commitment to deliver exceptional service.
- Possess a positive outlook, exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Display a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Have a current Employee Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain.
- Hold current Mandatory Reporting, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Must have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
