Our client is looking for graduate Geologists to join a small team for their next exploration greenfield and brownfield campaign. The roster is campaign based with half field and half office based.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Conduct geological fieldwork, including mapping & sampling
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing exploration programs, including drilling campaigns.
- Perform detailed logging and interpretation of AC/RC & drill core.
- Utilize geological software to create and update geological maps and cross-sections.
- Gather and interpret data from various sources to aid in developing geological models.
- Collaborate with other geoscientists to understand and interpret the geological setting and mineralisation controls.
- Oversee and manage site contractors and field staff, ensuring all activities follow company standards and regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
- Coordinate and oversee the submission of samples to laboratories, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and documentation in line with QA/QC standards.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in stakeholder and community engagement activities as required.

About you
- BSc (Geology)
- Minimum 2 years of exploration experience (Gold experience preferable)
- Previous Exploration Geologist experience highly regarded.
- Experienced with drilling (RC and Diamond)
- Comfortable with a campaign-style roster and mobile accommodation (occasionally based in rental house)
- Must be fit and healthy
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Hold a manual ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
- Working knowledge of GIS systems, MapInfo, Micromine and MS Office (desirable but not essential)
