**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
You will contribute to the successful implementation of a professionally focused governance program, ensuring the Program's objectives are met through sound governance frameworks and effective stakeholder engagement.

**What You Will Do**:

- Lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks, procedures, guidelines, and capability-building efforts across the Reef Program.
- Research, analyse, and provide recommendations to support evidence-based planning and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and issues management.
- Engage stakeholders in improving and strengthening governance practices across the Program.
- Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders, supporting continuous improvement in governance capabilities.
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging issues that may impact governance success and recommend proactive measures.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous business improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate program and project status reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Support additional tasks and activities as required to contribute to the success of the Reef Program.
