Are you passionate about sports and data?

We're seeking a **Performance Data Analyst**to join our team at WA Cricket and play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and development of the Men’s and Women’s Western Australian Cricket Teams, Perth Scorchers and associated pathway programs.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Assist with the design and execution of a streamlined data visualisation approach across WA Cricket High Performance disciplines
- Assist and facilitate comprehensive, efficient, and timely analysis and/or coding, for various high performance programs
- Provide individual player analysis for Western Australian Male and Female Cricket Team and Perth Scorchers throughout the season
- Actively facilitate ongoing education of players and support them in understanding and optimising performance analysis related outcomes
- Assist in the video production and analysis of opposition player packages and player highlights
- Provide information to support the effective establishment of Individual Player Plans
- Provide analysis that informs and helps shape team strategy and match preparation

**A great fit for this role looks like**
- Experience using Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse datasets and interpret trends.
- Experience using Video Analysis platforms
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Proven research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines, maintain a flexible approach, and contribute to a team environment.
- A highly developed knowledge and understanding of Cricket, the rules relating to all types of Cricket matches and its culture.
- Experience with the programming language of R or Python, or similar (desirable).
- Understanding of querying and management of databases (desirable).
