An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Commercial Business Intelligence Team for a Data Analyst This is an interesting and varied role, where you will be faced with regular new data challenges. The department provides a reporting, insight and analysis on all aspects Financial, Operational and Governance for Commercial Lines General Insurance. You will be part of a very supportive team as they provide a one-stop shop for anyone passionate about expanding their knowledge of commercial Insurance, how it operates and what information it needs to operate.

We are seeking a highly numerate individual with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

As a team, we are particularly excited to be supporting the development of some exciting projects using an increasingly diverse variety of new technologies. As one of the Data Analyst, you will help us to identify gaps and quality issues in our data, working closely with Data and Operational teams to report, prioritise, and resolve these issues. With new and rewarding projects in development, we have multiple opportunities to kickstart your career in data analysis.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Have an interest in Technology, Finance and problem solving- Scriptwriting experience with SQL, SAS or equivalent- Ability to design dashboards which are efficient and readable for non-data minded people. Experience developing BI solutions in Qlik Sense/QlikView is desirable.- Comfortable working with stakeholders and have the ability to coordinate and support/deliver trainingWhat you’ll get for this role:
